Ahmad, this is great stuff. From my experience as a seed and series a investor, while deal flow is not a sustainable advantage, the ability to win highly competitive deals is. I agree with you that the individual partner is very important in that process, but reputation and brand of the firm really come into play here. The competition for limited equity is one of the main areas I imagine venture differing from PE or public market investing.
